Charter our luxury yacht Paladio to discover the neighbouring island, La Gomera. This unique opportunity to cross the small passage of 25 nautical miles between islands in complete comfort should not be missed. All guests will be welcomed aboard in Puerto Colon by the captain and crew. When you arrive on board, the crew will give you a full tour of the yacht so that you feel at home from the first instant.
As we pull out of the port, you can sit at the bow, stern or on the flybridge to watch the maneuver out of port, setting in a north-westernly direction, up the coast of Tenerife until we reach the most favourable crossing point. Then we will head full west across the small Atlantic passage. This passage is home to a third of the worlds cetaceans, so keep your eyes peeled. Dolphins quite regularly pop up to play in the backwater of the yacht and pilot whales have made this area their home so can often be sighted as we sail along.
The crossing takes just under 3 hours, in which you are able to relax with a glass of your favourite drink. Sunbathe on one of the solariums or sit and enjoy the sea breeze from the flydeck. Once we arrive in La Gomera, we have an option of anchoring off the island, mooring in the port of San Sebastian or making the full sail around the island (weather permitting).
Choose between eating aboard or venture into the picturesque town of San Sebastian for something to eat or just a stroll around this peaceful spot. Christopher Columbus stopped here to replenish his armada before crossing the Atlantic to dicover the ‘Americas’, he was rumoured to have his true love in La Gomera.
Spend the night aboard, again with the choice of eating your evening meal aboard or on shore. Get a restful sleep in one of our 4 luxury cabins (all en-suite) and enjoy waking up and having your breakfast aboard whilst heading back to Tenerife.
